Fast delivery in Guangzhu (China)

Hi !

I haven’t spent much time in China, only 3 business trips for a total of 6 weeks, where 90% of it was spent in meeting room and hotel/restaurant. But I got a chance to walk around in Guangzhou, 3rd biggest city of China. And I got somehow amazed by the parcel delivery system (or lake of).

Above is my lucky capture. The camera wasn’t set properly, basically expecting a lot of light, and we were in a dark street during a dark day. This guy passed by, without any thinking I shot him, and, by relfex, I followed him and got this motion blur.

New Plymouth Coastal Walkway (New Zealand)

Hi !

Another nice souvenir from New Zealand: New Plymouth. It was one stop required because of the beautiful hiking possible in the Egmont National Park (and the charismatic Mt Taranaki).

There’s a very pleasant walk on the coastal walkway, with the sound of the wave bashing against the shore.

Lady Bowen’s Fall (New Zealand)

Hi !

I know, another photo of Milford Sound. I know, I’ve already bored the whole word about that place, which is something of a magical place for me.

But this one is Lady Bowen, in dramatic setting (which I haven’t cheat so much, only a simulated Fuji Velvia 100F Landscape film preset from VSCO).

By the way, this is the highest fall in the Southern hemisphere, for whatever it is worth. It one of the only too permanent falls of Milford Sounds also.

Sharing a ride in Sawai Madhopur (India)

Hi !

On a 2 weeks trip in the north on India while in a city cold Sawai Madhopur in Rajastan, we were dinning, and looking down I saw all these SUVs passing by, carrying way more people that were designed to.

In India, and more likely in every country with similar economical issues, it is quite common to see vehicles overcrowded. Of course, given our approach on road safety, it seems very unreasonable to allow so many people on one car, but eventually, it become very obvious that for most of them, the price of oil and depreciating the SUV are the main issue at stake here.

So for those of you complaining about overcrowded (but desperately safe) public transport in whatever big sophisticated city you’re living in, keep that image in mind. It must not be that bad !

Les amis du banc public (France)

Hi !

Just a shot of a good memory from this year, when a bunch of friends came for a weekend in Paris to look at the Edward Hopper exhibition at the Grand Palais.

There’s no word to describe what caught their attention. So I won’t even try.

The sleeping fellow of the Bangalore’s botanical garden (India)

Hi !

Visiting the botanic garden of Bengaluru, Lal Bagh, I could resist the envy of capture this good fellow enjoying a nap on the shadow of a big tree, when the day was at its warmest.

Not very colorful I know, but I’m confident I’ll have a chance to capture the colors and wonders of India later…

Lovers have each other back (France)

Hi !

I think the expression is that lovers have each other’s back. At least that was my thought at the moment I took the picture of these two enjoying a sunny Sunday on the border of the Seine river.

Baby niece

Hi !

Here’s another picture of my gorgeous little niece. We’ll save the full version were she’s totally naked for the first 20 or 30 boyfriends when she’ll be acting out.

Please don’t force yourself into finding her cute (but she is, you are just lying to yourself), I too dislike stranger’s baby.

sheeps of New Zealand

Hi !

Here’s a funny shot I took during my first trip to New Zealand. We were walking by the hills of Belmont Regional Park, my first peak in Kiwi’s spectacular landscape, and while crossing a lot of farmland, we were kinda scaring the shit out all sheeps we were meeting. These four ones were escaping and stopping looking back at us, to see if they are still out of arms ways. And they just aligned perfectly for a nice shot.
